Description
The HIVIZ LiteWave Gen 3 is an interchangeable fiber optic front sight for Smith & Wesson M&P pistols, intended to give the shooter a bright front sight post for quicker aiming. The steel base uses HIVIZ's overmolded design, and the sight accepts three interchangeable LitePipes in green, red, and white so the color can be matched to lighting conditions or preference. The LitePipe is changed with the included key.
The sight is listed as fitting the Smith & Wesson M&P, M&P Shield, and M&P Shield Plus, but not the M&P Pro or M&P Core. The factory front sight is 0.160 inches by 0.125 inches wide with a pipe diameter of 0.090 inches. Gunsmith installation is recommended.
