Hogue's patented G-Mascus process creates unique patterns within the colored G-10 material resulting in an appearance similar to that of G-Mascus or G-Mascus composites. The distinctive appearance of G-10 is achieved by a complex series of steps during the manufacturing process resulting in a perfectly uniform material with an optimal level of toughness and durability. This material gives the Maggrips a strong positive non-slip surface throughout the entire Maggrip. G-10 is a high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate consisting of multiple layers of woven fiberglass mesh layered in alternating color layers.
