Description
The Hoppe's BoreSnake Den is a one-pass bore cleaner for pistol barrels in 44 and 45 caliber. It is a pull-through design: a cord is drawn through the bore, and the attached cleaning element loosens fouling and scrubs residue from the barrel as it passes.
The cleaner uses a bronze brush to scrub the bore and a cleaning surface that the manufacturer describes as roughly 160 times larger than a standard patch. A brass weight on the pull cord is stamped with the caliber size. The unit is a one-piece design made of bronze brush and rope, and it is machine washable for reuse.
The BoreSnake Den is listed for 44 Magnum and 45 ACP pistols. Its compact construction makes it easy to pack for range trips.
