The cleaner uses a bronze scrubbing brush attached directly to a nylon cord. A brass weight on the cord is stamped with the caliber size, and a cone-shaped bore guide on the leading end helps the cleaner enter the barrel straight. A lubrication zone on the cord allows solvent or oil to be applied during cleaning.
