The Hoppe's Viper BoreSnake is a pull-through bore cleaner for pistol barrels in 9mm Luger, 38 Special, 357 Magnum and 380 ACP. It is designed to clean a barrel in a single pass, with the cleaning cord drawn through the bore from chamber to muzzle.

The cleaner uses a bronze scrubbing brush attached directly to a nylon cord, with a brass weight on the pull cord to help it drop through the barrel. A cone-shaped bore guide on the leading end helps it center in the bore, and a lubrication zone on the cleaner applies oil during the pass. The retailer describes its brush cleaning power as 50% greater than the standard BoreSnake.
