The Hoppe's Viper BoreSnake Bore Cleaner is a pull-through rifle bore cleaner in the BoreSnake line, sold as a bundle that includes a den and a T-handle. It is intended for cleaning the bore of a 30 caliber rifle, including 308 Winchester chambered firearms.
The cleaner uses a bronze scrubbing brush attached directly to a nylon cord. A brass weight on the pull cord is stamped with its size, and a cone-shaped bore guide on the leading end helps the brush enter the bore. A lubrication zone is included on the brush.
