Hornady InterLock 30 Cal 150gr BTSP Bullets 100 Count

The Hornady InterLock .30 cal 150 gr BTSP is a component reloading bullet built for handloaders who hunt big game. Its key part is the InterLock ring, a raised ring inside the jacket that embeds in the lead core of each bullet. That ring keeps the core and jacket locked together as the bullet expands, so it holds onto its mass and energy through controlled expansion. Hornady builds the ring into a design with a one-piece lead core and separate jacket, and every other detail on the bullet supports the same goal. A tapered jacket and inner grooves control how the exposed lead tip opens, giving these .308 bullets high weight retention after impact. A cannelure gives you a consistent crimping point, and the secant ogive and boat tail give the bullet its streamlined profile. Hornady lists a G1 ballistic coefficient of .349 and a sectional density of .226. The same data lists this 150 gr BTSP for medium game of 50-300 lbs and large game of 300-1500 lbs. It fits .30 caliber rifle cartridges that take a .308" bullet, so confirm charge and seating depth in a published load manual first.
