Description
Hornady Critical Duty FlexLock is a 10mm Auto defensive handgun cartridge loaded with a 175-grain FlexLock bullet. It is intended for users who carry a full-size handgun for personal protection and want strong barrier penetration.
The FlexLock bullet uses a mechanical jacket-to-core InterLock band to hold the jacket and core together for weight retention, and a Flex Tip that resists clogging and aids expansion. The high-antimony lead core is designed for controlled expansion. Rated muzzle velocity is 1160 fps and muzzle energy is 523 ft-lbs. Cases are nickel-plated brass, and the loads use low-flash propellant.
