Hornady Precision Hunter 28 Nosler 162gr ELD-X Polymer Tip 200 Rounds

After extensive research using Doppler radar technology, Hornady found that the high heat caused by the friction of the air running over the tips of a bullet was actually melting polymer tips designed to increase aerodynamic efficiency. To prevent this from disturbing the bullet's flight, Hornady developed its new Precision Hunter lineup complete with a ELD-X bullet and a Heat Shield tip. Designed to resist the intense, friction-created heat of ballistic travel, the Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X Heat Shield tip retains its shape throughout travel, providing one of the highest ballistic coefficients of any hunting bullet in its class.
