Hornady V-Max 22 Cal .224 50 Gr Polymer Tip Bullets 100 Count

The Hornady V-Max is a 22 caliber reloading bullet with a polymer tip and boat tail design, intended for handloaders assembling varmint and small-game cartridges. The polymer tip raises the ballistic coefficient for higher velocity and acts as a wedge to start expansion on impact. The boat tail is meant to improve in-flight stability at longer ranges.

Each bullet is a 50 grain projectile with a copper jacket and lead core. The core is formed around the tip during manufacturing, and the copper jacket provides the bearing surface needed for stability out of the barrel and tolerance of fast twist rates in advanced varmint rifles.
