Hornady V-Max 22 Caliber 40 Grain Polymer Tip Bullets 100 Count

Hornady V-Max 22 caliber bullets are 40 grain reloading projectiles for handloaders building varmint and small-game ammunition. Each bullet has a polymer tip, a boat tail base, and a lead core within a copper jacket.

The polymer tip raises the ballistic coefficient for flatter, faster flight and acts as a wedge that starts expansion on impact. The boat tail base is intended to improve in-flight stability for longer shots. The copper jacket provides the bearing surface needed for stability out of the barrel and is designed to handle fast twist rates in advanced varmint rifles.
