Howa 1500 Fence Line 7.62x39mm 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Howa 1500 Fence Line Features The Howa 1500 Fence Line is built on the barreled action that has defined affordable bolt-action reliability since 1979 hammer forged in Japan for a guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy of 1 inch or better at 100 yards. The cold hammer forged heavy barrel adds mass for stability shot after shot which means less muzzle rise and a more consistent point of impact during extended range sessions or varmint outings. The aluminum receiver is drilled and tapped and ready for a Picatinny-style optics setup so shooters can mount glass suited to hunting or long-range varmint work without gunsmithing. A 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor giving the rifle real versatility for recoil management or sound reduction in the field. The HACT two-stage trigger delivers a crisp predictable break that helps shooters stay on target through the shot and the three-position safety allows the bolt to be locked for safe carry through brush or across rough terrain. A rubber recoil pad softens felt recoil on the shoulder during long days afield while the fixed synthetic stock in Scorched Earth Camo resists moisture and temperature swings better than a traditional wood stock. At 6.4 lbs the rifle stays maneuverable for stalking hunts and the Howa 1500 s lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects backs the rifle for a lifetime of dependable service in the field.
