Howa Carbon Stalker 2 7mm 24" Bolt Action Rifle

Howa M1500 Carbon Stalker 2 Features The Howa Carbon Stalker 2 is built around a 24 inch cold hammer forged barrel chambered in 7mm Rem Mag with a 1:9 twist rate that stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights for hunting big game at extended distances. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and suppressor ready giving hunters the option to mount a suppressor for reduced recoil and noise without any additional gunsmithing. Howa backs this rifle with its Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee reflecting the quality control built into every Carbon Stalker 2 that leaves the factory. The HACT trigger provides a crisp consistent pull that helps shooters take full advantage of the rifle s inherent accuracy potential. A carbon fiber wrapped stock keeps the rifle s overall weight down to 6.75 pounds making it easier to carry during long days in the backcountry without sacrificing the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy. The Tungsten Cerakote finish on the action and barrel resists corrosion and wear from exposure to the elements during hunts in rough weather. A large integral bolt handle gives the shooter a solid confident grip for smooth fast cycling between shots which matters when a follow-up shot is needed quickly. The hinged floorplate magazine holds 3+1 rounds and a black rubber recoil pad helps manage the recoil of the 7mm Rem Mag cartridge for a more comfortable shooting experience.
