Ithaca ~ M37 Featherlight ~ 12 Gauge 2¾″

The Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight is a classic, lightweight, pump-action shotgun first introduced in 1937 and based on a 1915 patent by John Browning. Key Features Bottom Ejection: Uses a single bottom port for both loading and ejecting shells, making it completely ambidextrous and keeping dirt out of the action. Lightweight Design: Known for its low weight (ranging from about 5.75 lbs for smaller gauges up to 6.57 lbs for 12-gauge models) due to streamlined steel machining. Fewer Parts: Features one of the simplest internal mechanisms of any pump shotgun, contributing to high reliability and a smooth action. Classic Aesthetics: Typically built with Grade-A or AA walnut wood furniture, a grooved "corn cob" or ribbed forend, and roll-engraved hunting scenes on the receiver.
