Iver Johnson 1911A1 45 ACP 5" 8-Round Pistol Chrome White Pearl

Iver Johnson 1911A1 Features The Iver Johnson 1911A1 is built as a faithful semi-automatic recreation of the classic GI pistol chambered in .45 ACP a cartridge trusted by generations of shooters for its stopping power. A 5 inch barrel gives the pistol the full-size sight radius and balance the 1911 platform has been prized for since its original military adoption. An 8-round magazine feeds the single action design with one magazine included to get shooters started right out of the box. The steel frame construction gives the pistol substantial heft contributing to its 42 ounce weight and helping manage recoil during rapid strings of fire. A brilliant chrome finish covers the entire frame and slide giving the 1911A1 a polished eye-catching look that stands out from the typical black or stainless 1911 on the market. White pearl synthetic grips complement the chrome finish beautifully adding a classic almost ceremonial appearance to the pistol while remaining durable for regular handling. GI style external parts including a fixed front sight and fixed rear sight keep the shooting experience authentic to the historical 1911A1 pattern this pistol is modeled after. At an overall length of 8.5 inches the pistol balances a full-size platform with the classic proportions 1911 enthusiasts expect. For collectors and shooters who want a visually striking 1911 with genuine GI styling the Iver Johnson 1911A1 delivers both form and function.
