Iver Johnson Eagle XL 1911 45 ACP 6" 8-Round Pistol, 24K Gold White Pearl Grips

Iver Johnson Eagle XL Features The Iver Johnson Eagle XL is chambered in .45 ACP and built on a solid 1045 steel frame with a 4140 steel slide a combination chosen for durability under the recoil of a full size 1911. A 6 barrel extends sight radius beyond a standard government model which helps the shooter settle the sights more precisely for slow fire accuracy. The LPA TRT rear sight is fully adjustable with a white dot and pairs with a dovetailed front sight giving the shooter a repeatable adjustable sight picture for different loads and distances. Front and rear angled slide serrations give a secure purchase for racking the slide whether the hands are dry or sweaty. Control ergonomics are addressed with an extended slide stop and extended thumb safety for easy reach under recoil along with a three hole trigger and a skeletonized hammer to reduce reciprocating mass. A beavertail grip safety with a memory cut protects the web of the hand while ensuring consistent disengagement and a lowered flared ejection port promotes reliable case ejection. The magwell is slightly beveled to speed up magazine changes during a reload. Finished entirely in 24K gold plating with hand polished parts and set off by synthetic white pearl grips the Iver Johnson Eagle XL ships with one 8-round magazine and is not rated for +P ammunition or reloads available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
