Iver Johnson Eagle XL DS 45 ACP 6" 14-Round Pistol

Iver Johnson Eagle XL Features The Iver Johnson Arms Eagle XL extends the 1911 platform with a 6 inch stainless steel barrel adding sight radius and velocity over a standard government length gun. Fully adjustable white dot sights front and rear let the shooter dial in windage and elevation for precise work at distance while front and rear angled thin-line serrations on the matte black steel slide give a sure grip for racking the slide under stress or with wet hands. A lowered and flared ejection port keeps brass clearing cleanly and a slightly beveled magwell speeds reloads when every second counts. The 14+1 round capacity fed from a double stack magazine gives the Eagle XL significantly more firepower than a traditional single stack 1911. A beavertail grip safety with a memory cut seats the hand high and consistently behind the bore for better recoil control while an extended slide stop and thumb safety keep the manual controls easy to reach and operate. The 3 hole trigger and skeletonized hammer reduce reciprocating mass for a lighter crisper trigger pull and faster lock time. Black G10 grips with front-of-grip machined serrations provide a durable textured surface that holds up to repeated use without wearing down. Weighing in at roughly 49 ounces unloaded with a 9.75 inch overall length and shipping with two magazines the Iver Johnson Arms Eagle XL is a capable long slide 1911 for range competition or duty carry.
