Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine 45 ACP 8-Round Nickel

Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine Features The Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine features a carbon steel tube that is heat-treated for strength ensuring the magazine holds its shape and function through years of repeated use. Internal components are linked together for easy disassembly and reassembly simplifying cleaning and maintenance compared to magazines with independent hard-to-track parts. The lubricated nylon polymer follower includes a metal insert positioned where the slide stop engages ensuring the slide locks back properly on an empty magazine every time. This attention to the follower design helps the magazine properly align all types of .45 ACP ammunition for the most reliable feeding possible. The spring is manufactured from higher tensile music wire with a drawn phosphate coating a combination that improves coiling properties during manufacturing and extends the spring s usable service life. A redesigned high impact polymer butt-plate is removable and tapered specifically to fit funneled magazine wells easing insertion during a fast reload. Built to fit Government Commander and XL long slide 1911 frames this magazine offers broad compatibility across the most popular 1911 variants. The nickel finish gives the magazine a bright corrosion-resistant look that stands out from the more common black or stainless options.
