Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe Lightweight 45 ACP 18" 50-Round Carbine

Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe Lightweight Features The Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe Lightweight reproduces every classic detail of the original Thompson submachine gun from the finned 18 barrel to the iconic compensator in a semi-automatic format legal for civilian ownership. Its frame and receiver are machined from aluminum alloy significantly reducing weight compared to the original steel-framed Thompsons while retaining the same recognizable profile. Fixed front blade and adjustable battle rear sights offer a traditional functional sighting system true to the original design. The .45 ACP chambering pays homage to the cartridge the Thompson was originally built around delivering the classic feel this platform is known for. Walnut-grain polymer furniture gives the rifle the traditional wood-stocked Thompson look while remaining more resistant to moisture and warping than genuine wood over time. This carbine ships with both a 20-round stick magazine and a 50-round drum magazine letting shooters choose between a slim low-profile magazine or the Thompson s signature drum for range days. At 8.05 lbs the rifle carries a substantial authentic feel without becoming unwieldy to handle. A thumb safety provides straightforward traditional manual operation rounding out a faithful recreation of one of America s most iconic firearms for collectors and range enthusiasts alike.
