The KAK Industries Bolt Carrier Group M16 is a replacement bolt carrier assembly for AR-15 and M16 pattern rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It uses an M16 full auto carrier profile machined from 8620 steel, paired with a 9310 steel bolt intended to resist fatigue under repeated firing. A chrome-lined carrier interior reduces cycling friction, and a phosphate finish provides a corrosion-resistant outer layer.
The assembly includes a phosphate-coated billet 4140 extractor, a chrome-plated 4340 cam pin, and an 8740 chrome-plated firing pin that is precision ground and heat treated. The S7 tool steel ejector and extractor retaining pin, along with a chrome-lined and chrome-plated 4130 gas key secured by grade 8 carrier key screws, complete the group. The finished weight is 11.68 oz.
