Description
The KAK Industry Retro Taper Flash Hider is a three-prong muzzle device for AR-15 rifles that recreates the flash hider style found on mid-1960s M16 rifles. It is intended for builders who want a period-correct retro appearance on a modern AR-15.
The device threads onto a 1/2x28 pattern barrel, the common thread for 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington chambered rifles. Its bore is sized to accommodate calibers up to .30 caliber. The open prong design directs muzzle flash away from the shooter's line of sight. It has a black phosphate finish.
Installation requires a separate crush washer, which is not included, to time and secure the device on the barrel.
