Keltec PLR-22 Features The Keltec PLR-22 delivers lightweight rimfire performance in a compact .22 LR pistol platform offering an economical and highly enjoyable option for training range time and small game use. Based on the PLR-16 design it uses a blowback system with a 4140 steel bolt riding on steel guide rails inside the polymer receiver with the ejector mounted to one rail and the recoil spring positioned above the barrel for an efficient layout. A 4 position crossbolt safety provides secure handling while the adjustable front sight for elevation and adjustable rear sight for windage keep the setup practical for dialing in your point of impact. An integrated Picatinny top rail makes this a highly configurable semi-auto pistol for optics and accessories and the 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle supports standard attachments. The 1-in-16 twist rate is well suited for .22 LR performance and the included 26 round magazine provides excellent capacity for long strings of fire. It will also accept Atchison compatible magazines adding flexibility for shooters already running compatible rimfire setups.
