Description
The Kel-Tec P17 is a lightweight .22 LR striker-fired pistol intended as a practical training tool for new shooters and an economical skill builder for experienced shooters. Its compact frame and low weight of 12.8 oz make it easy to carry and comfortable through long practice sessions.
The pistol has a polymer frame with an integral Picatinny-style accessory rail for lights and training tools, a 3.80 inch steel barrel threaded 1/2-28 TPI, and a steel slide with black finish over a tan frame. Fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights aid quick acquisition and fine adjustment. An ambidextrous manual safety lever and ambidextrous magazine release support use from either hand.
Three 16-round magazines are included, giving a maximum capacity of 16+1 rounds. The threaded barrel accepts 1/2-28 TPI accessories, and the overall length is 6.70 inches.
