Description
The Kershaw Emerson CQC-7K is a manual folding knife with a modified tanto blade made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, intended for both slicing and punching tasks. The blade has a satin finish on the grind and a stonewashed finish on the upper section. The handle combines a textured G-10 front scale with a stainless steel back and a frame lock. The knife measures 7.75 inches overall, with a 3.25-inch blade, and weighs 5 ounces.
The CQC-7K can be opened with its thumb disk or with the Emerson wave feature, a tab on the top of the blade that catches on the pocket seam so the blade deploys as the knife is drawn out. The pocket clip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry.
