Description
The KGM Quick Detach Flash Hider is a steel muzzle device designed to reduce muzzle flash and to accept a quick-detach suppressor. Its birdcage-style design helps control flash signature, and its taper mounting surface is intended to index the suppressor consistently each time it is installed.
The flash hider is machined from heat-treated chromoly steel and finished in black nitride, a gas nitride process that resists corrosion and wear from combustion gases. It is threaded 1/2x28. A ratcheting secondary retention system locks an attached suppressor in place to reduce loosening under recoil.
It fits directly onto weapons already cut for 1/2x28 threads.
