The KICK-EEZ Sporting Clay Grind to Fit is a black recoil pad designed for shotguns, intended for shooters who shoulder the gun from a low position. Its heel is canted at 45 degrees, which allows easier shouldering from the low gun position, while the contour lines otherwise resemble those of an all-purpose pad.
The pad is constructed of Sorbothane, a viscoelastic material used to absorb recoil. It is supplied in a 15/16 inch large size and can be ground down to achieve a custom fit to the buttstock.
Because the pad is designed to be ground to fit, it is suited to buttstocks that require exact dimensions and a tailored finish.
