Specifications
Description
The Kimber Stainless Target Long Slide is a semi-automatic 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP, built for target shooting, competition, and use as a hunting side-arm. Its 6-inch barrel and long slide give it a longer sight radius and added weight that help reduce felt recoil.
The pistol is made of stainless steel and has a satin silver finish. It is a full-size frame with a full-length grip and holds 7 rounds. The front sight is a red fiber optic, and the rear is an adjustable target sight for quick sight picture acquisition.
The Stainless Target is a long slide model, so it uses the standard 1911 platform and .45 ACP ammunition.
