Description
The Kimber Rampart 1911 is a semi-automatic pistol built on the 1911 platform and chambered in 45 ACP. It is intended for target shooting and competition, and it comes with a toolless compensator designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise for faster, more controlled follow-up shots.
The pistol has a 5-inch barrel and an 8-round capacity. The frame and slide are stainless steel with an Olive Drab Cerakote finish. Sights are HiViz, the slide has a ported design and racing serrations, and the grips are G10. The thumb safety is ambidextrous.
Because the compensator is toolless, it can be removed without special equipment for cleaning or maintenance.
