KNS Precision AR-15/MCX Picatinny Stock Adapter Without Flange

The KNS Precision AR/MCX Stock Adapter is a black Picatinny-style mount that lets a Picatinny-compatible stock or brace, such as the SIG MPX folding stock, attach in place of a standard AR-15 buffer tube. It is intended for firearms that use the buffer tube attachment point only to mount stocks and braces and do not require the tube for an in-line buffer spring.

The kit consists of two parts and an attaching bolt. An externally threaded adapter plug fits into the threaded buffer socket or ring, and an adapter rail section slides into a slot in the plug. The two parts are secured to each other and to the firearm with a hex-socket bolt and lock washer.

The adapter blocks the bolt carrier from entering the buffer tube area, so it does not work with a standard AR-15 lower or the MCX upper. It is intended only for applications where the carrier and buffer tube do not protrude past the receiver.
