Description
The KRISS Vector SDP Gen 3 is a semi-automatic 45 ACP pistol built on the Vector family's Super V recoil mitigation system, which uses a delayed blowback operating system and a low-mass slider to redirect blowback energy downward. It is described as suited to personal protection and home defense. The polymer frame and Cerakote Woodland Camo finish are rated for field use.
The pistol has a 5.5-inch threaded barrel with a 0.578x28 thread pitch, an overall length of 15.35 inches, and a weight of 5.6 pounds. It has front and rear flip sights, an ambidextrous hand configuration, and a full-size frame. The Vector's barrel sits low, in line with the second knuckle of the dominant hand, to reduce recoil forces.
