Description
The KynSHOT RB5006 is a hydraulic recoil buffer made for AR-10 rifles chambered in .308 Winchester and 7.62x51mm NATO that use a fixed stock. It is intended to absorb the shock of the bolt carrier's rearward travel and reduce bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered.
The buffer is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in silver. Its overall length is 5.19 inches. The retailer text describes a patented damping system and claims a 20 to 30 percent reduction in felt recoil, but these performance figures are not verified here.
