LanTac Drakon AK-47 Muzzle Brake Dead Air Keymount 14x1 LH 7.62x39mm Black

The LanTac Drakon AK-47 is a muzzle device for AK-47 rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm, combining a muzzle brake with a Dead Air Keymod suppressor mount. It is intended for shooters who want reduced muzzle rise and recoil and a mounting point for a Keymod-compatible suppressor.

The device is machined from steel, hardened to 48 Rc and nitride finished for corrosion resistance. It has an M14x1 left-hand thread and is designed for 7.62x39mm (Russian Short) ammunition only. The manufacturer describes a patented gas handling system and a Short Energy Pulse design intended to limit recoil and muzzle climb during full-auto fire.

The package includes a shim set for timing the brake and mount, with shims in .34 mm, .22 mm, .11 mm, .075 mm and a 2 mm washer. Each unit is serial numbered. The manufacturer recommends a specific thread locker, which should be used during installation.
