Description
The Legend Outdoor Gear Aftershock Cleaning Cable is a gun cleaning cable for 5.56mm and .22 caliber rifles. It uses an integrated bronze brush to lead the cable through the bore, loosening carbon fouling and lead fragments left by firing. A woven cotton braid follows the brush and sweeps the loosened debris out of the barrel in the same pass, which can reduce the number of strokes needed compared with a standard rod and patch.
The cable is sized for the bore diameters common to modern sporting rifles. It is designed to be used with Aftershock CLP solvent as part of a one-step cleaning and lubricating routine. The woven cotton braid is washable and reusable, and the compact, flexible cable stores easily in a range bag or cleaning kit.
