Description
The Real Avid Bore Boss is a pull-through bore cleaner for .223/5.56 rifles, chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. Its single-piece cable stores wrapped around the handle, so the system stays organized in a pack or pocket between uses.
The cable carries a phosphor bronze bore brush and a braided mop, and it connects to the handle through a dual-action fitting. The handle is molded from polycarbonate and surrounded by a flexible overmolding, and the cable length is matched to this caliber. To use it, flip the cable, feed it through the bore, clip it, and pull.
