Description
The Leupold BX-2 Alpine HD is an 8x42mm roof prism binocular in Shadow Gray EXO-Armor finish, designed for general outdoor observation where a compact, easy-to-carry glass is the priority. Its magnesium housing and open bridge roof prism design keep the body lightweight, and an ergonomic grip supports handheld use.
The binoculars offer an 8x magnification and a 42mm objective lens, with a 5.20mm exit pupil and 15mm eye relief for comfortable viewing with eyeglasses. The field of view is 394 feet at 1,000 yards, the center focus has a short focusing distance of 13.50 feet, and the fully multi-coated lens system is rated fog and waterproof. The body measures 5 inches in overall length.
