Mossberg 590 Home-Defense Shotgun

A simple pump shotgun for the house: a standard 18.5" Mossberg 590, a forend light you switch on with your support hand, a two-point sling and six spare shells on the receiver. We used Federal FliteControl 00 buck because its wad keeps patterns tight indoors. The source's Aridus Q-DC carrier isn't in our catalog, so we swapped in a TacStar SideSaddle, and we picked the Streamlight TL-Racker, one of the two forend lights the article names. Pattern your load at your longest in-home distance before you rely on it. Check your state and local laws before buying.
