The Magnum Research Baby Desert Eagle Semi-Compact (marketed primarily as the Baby Eagle III or Baby Eagle II depending on the generation) chambered in .40 S&W is a hammer-fired, tactical defense handgun. Double-Action / Single-Action (DA/SA) hammer-fired setup. Offers a smooth 12 lb first pull, dropping to a crisp 4 lb pull for single action. Comes standard with ambidextrous slide-mounted safety lever that acts as a physical decocker to safely drop the hammer over a live chamber.
