Description
The Magpul Enhanced 0.70" Butt Pad (MAG317) is a black rubber recoil pad designed for AR-15 carbine stocks. It replaces the factory pad to adjust length of pull and to improve shoulder comfort and felt recoil reduction. Its vented design is intended to reduce recoil and enhance shoulder protection.
The 0.70" thickness is the standard pad thickness for mil-spec stocks. Magpul also offers 0.55" and other thickness options for dialing in length of pull. Mounting hardware is included.
It fits Magpul UBR Gen 1, ACS, ACS-L, MOE, CTR and STR mil-spec stocks. It is not compatible with MOE fixed carbine stocks or UBR Gen 2 stocks, whose tapered toe does not accept this pad. On some commercial MOE CTR stocks, the pad may prevent full collapse.
