Description
The Magpul PMAG Gen M3 is a 20-round polymer magazine for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It is designed as a replacement magazine for standard AR-15 magazine wells.
Compared with earlier PMAG designs, the Gen M3 uses improved materials and manufacturing methods, with reported gains in durability, impact strength, chemical resistance, and performance at extreme temperatures. Internally, it has a low-friction, 4-way anti-tilt follower. The feed lips and spine are reinforced to better withstand impacts when fully loaded. The smaller floorplate and lower-profile side ribs are intended to improve compatibility with a wider range of magazine pouches.
