Description
The Magpul MOE AK Handguard is a replacement handguard for AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles that do not have a front sling loop on the handguard retainer. It is designed to replace standard wooden or plastic handguards and installs using the existing front handguard retaining cap.
The handguard is molded from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer and features an extended gripping surface with a front lip and long side extensions that shield the hand from a hot barrel. An integral black oxide coated stainless steel heat shield is included. M-LOK slots at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions accept direct-attach accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections.
A replacement polymer top cover is included and is compatible with UltiMAK optic mount top covers. The handguard accepts the factory cleaning rod. It is not compatible with Yugo pattern rifles.
