Description
The Magpul MOE SL Mid-Length Handguard is a polymer handguard for AR-15 rifles fitted with a mid-length gas system. It replaces factory two-piece plastic handguards and provides a lightweight, slim profile with an OD Green finish.
The handguard uses M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions. These accept optional Picatinny rail sections and direct-attach accessories such as tactical lights, slings, and grips. The reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction is intended to be durable without the weight and cost of an aluminum rail. Large front extensions and a lower lip help shield the hand from a hot front sight assembly. The overall length is 10.9 inches.
The handguard is designed for AR-15 platform rifles with mid-length gas systems. It uses the existing round front retaining cap and spring-loaded delta ring.
