Magpul Hunter Lite Stock for Savage AXIS Short Action Right Hand Black

The Magpul Hunter Lite is a hunting rifle stock built for the Savage AXIS in short action calibers. It is a lighter, slimmer take on the original Hunter stock, intended for hunters who want a fully featured stock that adds less weight to the rifle over long days in the field.

According to the listing, the stock weighs about 20% less than the original Hunter line, and its forend is roughly 25% narrower. It uses an aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars to resist compression and deformation while shooting. The buttstock and forend include integral sling swivel studs for slings and bipods, and the buttstock has removable half-inch spacers for length-of-pull adjustment. The stock is offered in black and is set up for a right-hand rifle, with a left-hand configuration available through an inlet insert swap.
