Description
The Magpul Hunter Lite Savage AXIS Short Action is a hunting rifle stock built for Savage AXIS rifles chambered in short action calibers. It is a lighter, slimmer version of the original Hunter stock, with a forend about 25% narrower and a weight about 20% lower.
The stock uses an aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars to resist compression and deformation while shooting. The buttstock and forend include integral sling swivel studs for slings and bipods, and the buttstock has removable half-inch spacers for length-of-pull adjustment. The stock is right-hand, with a Flat Dark Earth finish.
The stock fits Savage AXIS Short Action rifles. It can be converted for left-hand use by swapping the inlet insert.
