Steyr, Mannlicher Schoenauer, Model 1952 in 270 Winchester. This example has a 24" barrel with a hooded dovetailed blade front sight on a fine serrated ramp base that is fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a fixed "U" notched blade on a barrel mounted base. A second blade flips up and is marked "300". It has a side mounted quick release scope mount from Paul Jaeger. This gun also has an internal rotary magazine, single trigger, matching spoon handle bolt, dual safeties. The stock is a checkered walnut one piece stock with a capped pistol grip, straight comb with European-style cheekpiece, sling swivels front and rear, and a serrated hard rubber butt plate. Made In Austria in 1954. Overall this Steyr remains in great used condition.
