Description
The research we did indicates a YOM ca 1899 on this rifle. Being a Marlin the caliber is listed as ".30-30" and not ".30-30 Win." It can only be conjectured that Marlin didn't want their chief competitor's name anywhere on their product. It features a 26-inch octagonal barrel, curved steel butt plate, and a full-length magazine. The research shows up to 10 rounds capacity. It is unclear if that is in the mag (a really tight fit) or 9 + 1. Overall condition is pretty good, especially considering its age. It probably has had some work done over the years. The wood stands flush with the metal and may have shrunk to that level. The receiver has some parallel scratches on the left side.
