Description
The Marlin 1894 Guide Gun is a lever-action rifle chambered in 44 Magnum and 44 Special, built for handling and carry in brush, timber and close range. It has a right-hand action, a matte blued finish and a black laminated straight-grip stock and forend with checkering on both.
The 20.25-inch barrel is cold hammer forged from alloy steel and gives an overall length of 37.75 inches. The rifle weighs 6.4 pounds and holds 10 rounds. Sights are a brass bead front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The stock has a soft rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs, and the hammer has an offset spur.
The rifle accepts both 44 Magnum and 44 Special cartridges, so the same action can shoot either load.
