Description
The Smith & Wesson 1854 Tactical is a lever-action centerfire rifle chambered in 44 Magnum. It is built for shooters who want a handy, steel-framed lever gun with a matte stainless finish and a tactical-style configuration.
The rifle has a 19.25-inch barrel with a 1:20-inch right-hand twist and 8 grooves, and it weighs 6.8 pounds with an overall length of 36 inches. It holds 9 rounds in the tube magazine and uses a gold bead front sight with an XS ghost ring rear sight. The barrel is threaded 11/16-24 and accepts mounts that fit the Marlin 1894 hole pattern. A large loop operating lever and a magazine tube system allow the action to be unloaded without cycling every round.
