Marlin 336 RC Rifle, .30-30 Winchester, 20″ Barrel

The Marlin 336 RC (Regular Carbine) chambered in .30-30 Winchester with a 20-inch barrel is an iconic, widely produced "deer woods" rifles in American history. Manufactured continuously during Marlin's golden era in North Haven, Connecticut, the "RC" designation denotes the standard carbine configuration featuring a handy 20" barrel and a full-length tubular magazine. Unlike top-ejecting lever-actions of the era (such as the Winchester Model 94), Arthur Savage and Marlin utilized a closed solid-steel top.
