Mauser ~ S/42 Luger P-08

Excellent / very good condition. Bore has good visible rifling and shine, but micro pitting is present. Matching numbers accept for the magazine. Previous owner kept detailed records of his collection and all pieces pictured were said to have come home from WWII together. Capture papers are dated 4 November 1945. This is by far one of the very nicest Lugers to come through our facility. Serial number: 4028. The Mauser S/42 Luger P-08 is one of the most widely recognized military firearms of all time. The "S/42" sometimes called the secret manufacturing code stamped on the front toggle link designates production by Mauser during the pre-WWII and early WWII era 1935 to 1938. Serial Number: 4028
