Mauser ~ 98 Sporter ~ .270 Gibbs

The Gewehr 98 (or M98) is a bolt-action rifle made by Mauser for the German Empire as its service rifle from 1898 to 1935. After service use many of these rifles were sporterized and used for hunting. This example is a nicely done one. It's chambered in .270 Gibbs and comes with brass and dies to get you started. Rifle is topped with a Zeiss scope. Finish on the rifle is very nice and shows previous owner took great care of this rifle. German proof mark still visible on the receiver.
